De helm is in redelijke staat, de buitenhelm en riemen zijn in nette staat, maar het binnenwerk van de liner heeft wat gebruikssporen. Het betreft hier een originele Tweede Wereldoorlog productie liner van Inland/Firestone met een originele vroege fixed bale schaal uit eind 1943. De helm is een front seam. Aan de binnenzijde is de Heat stamp nog goed leesbaar.
De helm is na de oorlog omgebouwd tot Paratrooper helm, gezien de 2nd Company verf markering op de liner, vermoedelijk in de Korea periode of later. De helm heeft typische late snaps (er mist er een) en aluminium buckles op de para chinstrap. De helm is compleet met buitenhelm kinriem, liner kinriem, Liner zweetband, para kinriem en helmnet! Een mooie betaalbare oplossing voor een Amerikaanse Paratrooper helm!

The helmet is in reasonable condition, the outer helmet and straps are in neat condition, but the interior of the liner has some traces of use. This is an original World War II production liner from Inland/Firestone with an original early fixed bale shell from late 1943. The helmet is a front seam. The Heat stamp is still clearly legible on the inside.
The helmet was converted into a Paratrooper helmet after the war, given the 2nd Company paint marking on the liner, probably in the Korea period or later. The helmet has typical late snaps (one is missing) and aluminum buckles on the para chinstrap. The helmet is complete with outer helmet chinstrap, liner chinstrap, Liner sweatband, para chinstrap and helmet net! A nice affordable solution for an American Paratrooper helmet!
