WWII Amerikaanse M1 Helm
De helm is nog in redelijke nette staat, de helm heeft fixed bales (vaste haken). Aan de binnenzijde van de helm is de Heatstamp nog duidelijk zichtbaar, 551B, wat duid op een productie tussen begin 1943 en half 1943. Ook de kinriem is nog aanwezig, maar dit is een naoorlogs exemplaar.
De liner is nog in nette staat alleen mist deze de leren zweetband. Het betreft een Firestone liner. Het nummer aan de zijkant is mij onbekend. Een mooie vroege helm voor de Amerikaanse militaria verzamelaar!

The helmet is still in reasonably good condition, the helmet has fixed bales. The Heatstamp is still clearly visible on the inside of the helmet, 551B, which indicates a production between early 1943 and mid-1943. The chin strap is also still present, but this is a post-war example.
The liner is still in good condition, but it is missing the leather sweatband. It concerns a Firestone liner. The number on the side is unknown to me. A nice early helmet for the American militaria collector!
